The 3-Step Fierce & Sweet Framework

When parents, grandparents, and family with little kids come to me frustrated that girls' clothing only ever whispers "sweet" while boys get to roar "fierce," I walk them through the same three steps every time.
Step 1: Spot the Pattern
We start by naming what's actually happening — in kid's films, predators are overwhelmingly male and prey overwhelmingly female, and that pattern quietly seeps into the clothes and toys we hand our kids. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
Step 2: Flip the Narrative
Next, we design imagery and words that hold both traits at once — a fierce little tiger and a sweet little heart on the same onesie, because kids don't have to choose one identity to wear.
Step 3: Put It Into the World
Finally, we print it, gift it, and let a child wear the message on their body every single day, so "you can be fierce and sweet" becomes something they simply know about themselves.
Why This Order Matters
Skip Step 1 and you'll design something pretty but pointless — cute clothes that never challenge the pattern. Skip Step 2 and you'll just be swapping one box for another. The order protects the message.
