Coloring Contest Official Rules
Fierce and Sweet Kids' Animal Coloring Contest
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Sponsor. This contest is sponsored by Fierce & Sweet, Santa Fe, New Mexico, coloring@fierceandsweet.com ("Sponsor"). Schools, stores, and other organizations that help distribute coloring pages are not sponsors of this contest.
2. Eligibility. The contest is open to children ages 2 to 7 whose parent or legal guardian is a legal resident of the United States and is at least 18 years old. All entries must be submitted by the parent or legal guardian, who must agree to these Official Rules on the child's behalf. Employees and influencers of Sponsor and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible.
3. Contest Period. The contest begins on October 1, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Mountain Time and ends on November 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time (the "Contest Period"). Winners will be announced on November 9, 2026. Entries outside the Contest Period will not be considered.
4. How to Enter. There are two ways to enter. Both have equal standing.
Instagram entry: The parent or guardian posts a clear photo of the child's finished coloring on their own public Instagram account with the hashtag #FierceAndSweetColors and tags @fierce_and_sweet. The parent's account must be public during judging so Sponsor can view the entry. Do not tag other people unless they appear in the photo and have agreed.
Email entry: The parent or guardian emails a photo of the coloring to coloring@fierceandsweet.com with the child's first name, the child's age, and the parent's name and contact information.
Entry requirements:
The coloring must be done on an animal coloring page supplied by Sponsor, available at fierceandsweet.com or from participating schools and stores.
The coloring must be the child's own work.
Limit one entry per child. Multiple children in a household may each enter once.
Entries may not include photos of the child's face or any personal information about the child beyond first name and age.
Entries must be appropriate for all audiences. Sponsor may disqualify any entry it considers inappropriate.
5. Judging. Entries will be judged by Gian Schauer, creator of Fierce and Sweet, on the following criteria: creativity (40%), use of color (40%), and overall effort (20%). Winners are not determined by likes, comments, or shares. Entries will be judged within three age groups: ages 2–3, 4–5, and 6–7. In addition, Special Awards will be chosen from all eligible entries across all age groups: "Fiercest Colors" (the boldest, brightest color choices), "Sweetest Surprise" (the most unexpected color choices, like a pink shark or a rainbow wolf), and "Most Colorful Critter" (the most different colors used). Judges' decisions are final.
6. Prize. Each age-group winner receives one (1) $35 Fierce & Sweet gift card, redeemable on Sponsor's online store at fierceandsweet.com. No purchase minimum is required to use the gift card. Approximate retail value: $35 each. Gift cards can be used on any online order, including holiday sales. The gift card has no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and is not transferable. It does not expire and is valid on online purchases only. Sponsor is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. Each Special Award winner receives a printable award certificate and will have their artwork featured on Sponsor's social media; Special Awards have no monetary value. No substitutions except at Sponsor's discretion, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be provided.
Number of Prizes. One (1) winner will be selected in each of the three age groups (3 gift cards total), and one (1) winner will be selected for each of the three Special Awards. Each child may win only one prize. A prize will not be awarded in an age group or Special Award category in which no eligible entries are received.
7. Winner Notification. Winners will be notified within 2 days after the Contest Period ends by comment, direct message, or email. If a winner does not respond within 3 days, or a notification is undeliverable, Sponsor may award the prize to an alternate winner.
8. Parent/Guardian Consent and License. By entering, the parent or guardian:
confirms they are the child's parent or legal guardian and have authority to enter on the child's behalf;
confirms the entry is the child's original coloring;
grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and share the entry (including the child's first name and age) on Sponsor's website, social media, and marketing materials; and
understands that the parent or guardian may request removal of the entry at any time by emailing coloring@fierceandsweet.com, and Sponsor will remove it within a reasonable time.
Children's artwork remains the property of the child and family.
9. Privacy. Sponsor will collect only the information needed to run the contest and will use it only for that purpose and to notify winners. Sponsor does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Information is collected from parents or guardians only. Sponsor will not sell or share entrant information with third parties except as needed to administer the contest. See Sponsor's Privacy Policy at fierceandsweet.com/policies/privacy-policy.
10. Instagram Disclaimer. This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Entrants release Instagram and Meta from any liability related to the contest. Questions and comments should be directed to Sponsor, not Instagram.
11. General Conditions. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant who violates these rules, tampers with the process, or acts in a manner Sponsor considers inappropriate. Sponsor may cancel, modify, extend, or suspend the contest if it cannot run as planned for any reason, including technical failures or fraud. If the Contest Period is extended, Sponsor will announce the new end date on its Instagram account and at fierceandsweet.com, and all eligible entries already received will remain valid. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, or incomplete entries, or for technical issues beyond its control. Taxes, if any, on the prize are the winner's responsibility.
12. Release of Liability. By entering, entrants release Sponsor and its owners, employees, and agents from any liability arising from participation in the contest or use of the prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Winners List. For the names of winners (first names only), email coloring@fierceandsweet.com or visit Sponsor's Instagram account @fierce_and_sweet after November 9, 2026.
14. Governing Law. This contest is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Santa Fe County, New Mexico. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
